The National Square Dance Convention convened in Portland, Oregon in 2005 and was a tremendously inspiring event. All the ladies’ full and colorful petticoats were reminiscent of dahlias tossing in the breeze. The square dancers performed demonstrations throughout the day sometimes dancing from morning till night.
